Globodera pallida is one of the most important plant parasitic nematodes for potato crops, causing major crop loss. Virulence of Globodera pallida varies among field populations and its study is relevant to find solutions for this problem. Within PALLIFIT project it will be investigated the genetic diversity among field populations of G. pallida and will match with the phenotypical expression on a range of PCN resistant potato cultivars.
By participating on the user committee of this project, ClearDetections ensures its leading position in terms of knowledge about PCN diagnostics and the potential developments that can contribute to the development of even more targeted molecular diagnostics tools.
